Description
Maria Karapetyan is a Member of the National Assembly of Armenia since 2019. She is a member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, Head of Armenia’s Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly and member of Armenia’s Delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. Before entering institutional politics, she worked for years at the Imagine Center for Conflict Transformation as well as for the Caucasus Edition: Journal of Conflict Transformation. For several years, she was also an educator at Quality Schools International. She was also a Fellow and Board Member of the Association “Rondine Cittadella della Pace”. She has a Master’s Degree in Peace Studies from the University of Roma Tre, another Master’s Degree in European Studies from the Yerevan State University of Languages and Social Sciences and Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics and Intercultural Communication from the same university.
