Pieter Bevelander
Biography
Pieter Bevelander is professor of International Migration and Ethnic Relations (IMER) at the Department of Global political studies and Director of the Malmö Institute of Studies of Migration, Diversity and Welfare (MIM), Malmö University, Sweden. His main research field is international migration and different aspects of immigrant inclusion in host societies including labour market, housing, citizenship and political participation as well the reactions and attitudes of natives towards immigrants and minorities. He is well established scholar in the field of International Migration and its consequences given his engagement Associated Editor of International Migration Review (IMR) and Comparative Migration Studies (CMS) as well as member of the editorial board of Journal of International Migration and Ethnic Studies (JEMS). He has published widely in Migration and population journals.
