Lawyer from Universidad Externado of Colombia, Master in Constitutional Law and Research in Political Studies from Universidad Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) and PhD candidate in Constitutional Law from the same university.
Before becoming Superintendent of Industry and Commerce, she was General Director of the Administrative Department for Social Prosperity, professor of Administrative Law at the Colegio Mayor of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, research professor at the Universidad Externado of Colombia and professor of Constitutional Law at the Universidad de Cundinamarca. Currently, she is a professor of Constitutional Law at the Universidad Externado of Colombia
She has worked as a lawyer, consultant and litigator in Colombia and France. She worked as a lawyer in the firm Mialot Avocats, was advisor to the Military Attaché of the Colombian Embassy in France, was linked to the Legal Office of the Mayor's Office of Fusagasugá and worked in the Attorney General's Office as judicial assistant I of the Regional Directorate of Prosecutors, Unit of Prosecutors before Specialized Circuit Judges, and as judicial secretary I of the National Directorate of Prosecutors, National Unit of Prosecutors against Kidnapping and Extortion. The superintendent speaks French and English.
