As disinformation continues to pose a significant threat to democratic societies, there is a growing recognition of the constructive yet transparent role that governments must play in strengthening information integrity. This session will explore how governments can contribute to promoting information integrity while preserving the open exchange of ideas essential to democratic discourse. This panel will focus on countries' priorities and actions that can help inform the development of the OECD’s Information Integrity Recommendation.
